I've been going to Point since 1980. My last visit to Point was 2002, so things may have changed. A restaurant called "The Restaurant" located at 1800 North Point Drive has the best food in Point. It's located in the Sentry Insurance Building. Phone number is 715-346-6010. Food is excellent and they make a wonderful bananas foster at your table. The Wooden Chair in downtown Point serves an excellent breakfast. The Sky Club in Plover is a typical 50's Wisconsin supper club with good food. Skip the buffet. The Culver's on HWY 10 is the original and don't forget to take the Point Brewery tour.

Don't forget to sample the local beer
Stevens Point has a very good brewing tradition.
Point Special is the name of the beer that immediately comes to mind.
