 Stoud's Fried Chicken

Does anyone have or know where I can find the recipe/cooking method for Stroud's fried chicken? Thanks.

    I don't have the recipe but Stroud's is pan friend chicken.

      Pan fried is the only way to fry chicken. Stroud's, or no Stroud's.

        Gourmet magazine did a article on Strouds chicken many, many years ago. They published a recipe for the chicken and the gravy at the end of the article. I'm sure with a little research you could find it. I remember it not being to terribly complicated, but the cooking method was the key.....
         
        As I recall they said at the end of the article it made quite a mess and wasn't really worth doing at home unless you did it outside....LOL!

              I would just like to know where STOUD'S  fried chicken is? and if it's any better than STrOUD's

                There was a place in MD I think it was called Stouds, and they had some of the best fried chicken I ever tasted.
                 
                There is a long lost thread here on RF....I remember posting in the thread but can't seem to find it now.
                 
                The place was at a cross roads in MD, it also has some really good ice cream.....

                  Holy thread resurrection! Of course if anyone is still interested in Stroud's recipe it's just flour, salt and pepper, pan fried in soybean oil over medium high heat for about 30 minutes a pan full. There's a couple of articles on it and even some video. Just search for Stroud's fried chicken recipe on Google.
