If you're looking for a Stuckey's restaurant near you, their website has a restaurant locator here: http://www.stuckeys.com/search.php You can buy pecan log rolls from their online store. What's everybody's favorite Stuckey's candy?

Those pecan log rolls you mentioned. I remember going on vacation trips to the south and stoping at Stuckey's for those.

Thanks for posting this link!! I didn't realize how much I missed this store (and the pecan logs ) until I just now ordered. When I was a kid there used to be a Stucky's a few blocks from our house that was next to a gas station, and I can remember my walking there with my mom. My favorite are the pecan logs and the macadamia nut chocolates.

Ah yes, Stuckey's. Land of pecan logs, fudge, souvenirs, t shirst, post cards, shot glasses with state maps on them. They're still around. I think they're selling Mexican blankets and serapes at some locations as well. A great roadside place. carl reitz

Those Stuckey's Pecan Logs were icons of American family vacations in the 60's. When Ohians would head south, the neighbors would always ask them to pick up some pecan logs for them. We had some Stuckey's stores here in the 70's, 80's, and into the 90's, but I think they have left our state.

One located at exit 15 of I-65 in Indiana (just north of Louisville), finally closed up a couple of years ago. We stop at one of the many still operating on I-40 on the run West. The pecan logs are great...but the real reason for the stop are the GOLD GooGoo Clusters. They are pecan not peanut filled and are my favorite candy bar. Another Sweet that draws us to those little stops is the Divinity. Fluffy lumps of sugar that just melt away in your mouth. Add some Caffeine and you have a perfect road-stop on a cross-country trip.

My favorite item available at Stuckey's is the cardboard Car Bingo boards with things like cows, post office, tractor, etc. in the boxes.

Ah.....Pecan Divinity!!!! Almost all Stuckey's in south now integrated into gas stations called Stuckey's Stop. Basically a corner that sells Stuckey's candy. No more "King of the Road" burgers or the nasty pre wrapped chicken or tuna salad sandwiches....

Just like our Stuckey's here (I-10, Florida exit 120): it's part of Applefields, which has grocery store/Exxon Gas/Burger King.... It was the first "store" to build near this exit, way before Wally World came to town; disappeared, and returned last year, pecan logs and all! [|)]

No, as Stuckey's has "moved in" to places like Applefield's here in Chipley where there is a Burger King on the premises; in Gatlinburg, it's Subway, or no food service at some locations.[|)]
