I am sure kaymont tried his best to use the very best English translations he could when preparing his survey.  We have so many subtle differences in meanings between the various words we use for similar things that it can be difficult for someone who was not born and raised here.  I am sure that I would find it nearly impossible to write anything in French and get all the words exactly right!

kaymont, sorry for calling you a "he".    This happens quite a bit on Roadfood, greymo and stricken_detective also are women (I am pretty sure).
 
Generally in the U.S., the word "client" is more of a legal term and is used mainly for the "customer" of a lawyer, and not a customer of a business.  (Just like the "customer" of a doctor is called a "patient" here.)

I thought serving anything that was fast food was illegal in France, not to mention in violation of traditional French Cuisine and an insult to all The Great Chefs of Europe. BTW, who IS killing all The Great Chefs of Europe??? 
Must be McDonalds.
Auguste Escoffier must be rolling over in his grave knowing France let McDonalds enter the country!

Are you people serious?? This was obviously a real and clear poll. I am surprised that any of you would question the wording, as it is clearly from another country. Get used to wording, my friends.

to Mickey's; from the 2nd quesion on customer was used. 
Call me dense. I went ahead and did  the survey.
Do they have Dollar, or Franc, I guess, menus in France? Because the
Dollar menu at the drive thru is the only thing I order from, and I prefer to go anywhere else if it is  at all close by.
