Does anyone make stuffed burgers? I'm going to make some stuffed Blue Cheese Burgers, little thyme, sage, salt, pepper, garlic powder, blue cheese and grill them. Would love to know your recipes. Thanks.

I do two styles Bacon Cheese burger I stuff them with medium sharp cheddar. The meat is just seasoned with some minced onion, salt, pepper, egg, and fresh breadcrumbs, and stuffed with the grated medium sharp cheddar. After it's cooked, I like to top with crisp bacon and avocado, tomato sliced, and grilled vidalia onions in a toasted Kaiser bun. Italian style season ground meat with grated onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, pinch of ground red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, egg, and dried bread crumbs, then stuff with some fresh mozz. Once cooked, i liked to top with grilled zucchini, fresh basil, and dollop of pesto. I like to serve this a crusty panini bun..so i kinda shape the burger a bit oval like.

We used to do a burger stuffed with Stove Top Stuffing. I think we would brown the stuffed burgers and then simmer in mushroom soup for awhile. They were really good, may have to look up that receipe and try them again.

Pat out 2- 4 oz burgers, heat up some good Marinara sauce, put a small dent in one burger, add Marinara and either Mozzerella or Provalone, top the burger with other burger pinch together, and flatten as much as possible, granulated garlic, salt pepper, another slice of cheese when burger is 3/4 done to like, add a little oregano on cheese, add to a good seeded bun, and 1 or 6 beers of your choice...repeat until sleep overtakes. This process should be repeated every sunny warm weekend, preferably poolside, if possible, for the rest of your life!
