Subway does...pizza?!

I'm curious if there have been any takers on Subway's new menu item out there. I had it two days ago, and I don't think it was too bad. Certainly on par with a "decent" frozen pizza (perhaps ironic that they pull a wrapped base, consisting of the shell, sauce, and cheese already in order), and not quite, but slightly reminiscent of an older Pizza Hut-like taste and hint of Domino's. For the price (in the city, the pepperoni was $3.99 with an extra .50 cents for added bacon...cheaper than the locale close to Columbia U.), I won't complain for what it was. Now, not being a fan of SW's veggies (what's with the potency of those onions?), I can't vouch for a "greener" pie, but for a pepperoni & bacon pizza, it held onto its own.

Haven't tried the pizzas. I am not a fan of Subway but when I do eat there I order the meatball sub as it is the only one I can tolerate.

Strange enough, the only sub I get from Subway is their pizza sub.

Dunkin Donuts is advertising pizza now too! Do don't stand by for a report from the field from me.

They can make it cheaper than I can at home and I do not have the advantage of their fresh baked bread. I did not know they did pizza. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN
