I'm not party to the suit, but I always thought there was something fishy about their beef.

Hell, all I thought they used was Tuna Helper. No meat. Reminds me of a scene in the movie Vacation.

Taco Bell is a Yum! Brands sub, but Jack In The Box was owned by Purina, unless they sold it.

I haven't been to a Jack In The Box since I lived in Houston, but I remember them being quite good. Ate breakfast there almost every morning.

MellowRoast What scene was that? When they're visiting Cousin Eddie and his family, Eddie is grilling and says, "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"

Gazmik: Thanks, now I remember. You're pretty good! Foodbme: Didn't realize you could get breakfast there around the clock. That's excellent. 10:00 or 10:30 cutoff for breakfast is annoying, to say the least.

My husband has refused to eat Taco Bell products with the meat for years( He will, on the rare occasion I insist we eat there, have a bean burrito) because he thought something wasnt right with the meat.Guess he was right all along.

mar52 I always thought that Taco Bell was owned by Purina. No they are not, but they do try to deconstruct their products then reconstruct them in their menu items!

I haven't eaten at a Taco Bell for over 15 years. I never could get past the smell of the "beef" cooking. I usually go to a regional taco place like Rubio's. Or, as FBM can probably attest, there are several excellent taco trucks in the Phx. area. JMHO David O.

Guess he was right all along. Your husband was definitely right. I've never been comfortable with that "beef" filling, but wasn't exactly sure why. (Perhaps because ground beef doesn't actually look like that?) Also, I've never found their food very satisfying, and the only item I've ever liked is the Pintos 'N Cheese. Meager serving, but very tasty.

I never suspected TB had any integrity of quality ... It doesn't matter if they change as I'll net be eating there no matter what. But, I'm glad to see them called to task. The analogies to dog food seem appropriate.

I was watching the news the other day and MOFO (lawyer) seemed to give off the air he was doing something for us people. Such a valient man. More like his 15 seconds of fame.

analei Canada radio station..can you be more specific that saying Canada radio station. Ya know we do have more that one. Not a radio station, but the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council. They claim that the use of the word "faggot" in the song is offensive and that the song shouldn't be played on the radio without the word being edited out. All as a result of a complaint by a listener in St Johns, Newfoundland.

I have a feeling that this is a case that lawyers are never punished for using threats of groundless cases as a form of blackmail. I have no doubt that this is an extortion attempt, with the threat of creating bad publicity for Taco Bell unless they pay up big. If it does turn out that Taco Bell is telling the truth, the lawyer bringing the suit against them should face jail time for extortion. Bart
