Sunday dinner

Had dinner Saturday night at Dinosaur BBQ in Manhattan(NYC).Dinner tonight was the leftovers which consisted of: 4 ribs, collard greens, macandcheese, and cornbread I had just enough Dinosaur BBQ to put on the ribs. This was a great meal. Sure doen't pay to waste good eats.

My (Sunday) dinner tonight? A big 2" thick bone in rib pork chop smothered in mushroom sauce. It will be in my tummy before I can get my camera out.

Picked up a 3 pack of baby back ribs today from Sam's. Man were they pretty.Paid $20.00 for the pack. Put them in the smoker and used pecan wood. Smoked them for 3 hours and then covered them with Sonny's sweet bar-b-q sauce. They were some kind of wonderful. Watched the race while they cooked. Thanks for asking.

I've never been to Dinosauer BBQ, but I thought it was located somewhere in upstate New York, not Manhattan.

The original one is located in Syracuse NY They then went on to Rochester, NY and now have one in New York City.

To BaahBen. I have not yet been to RUB or Blue Smoke but have heard mostly good things. I like Dinosaur because of the food and the fact that its EZ OFF- EZ ON the West Side Highway at 125th St, and there is plenty of on street parking. No midtown traffic or parking hassles to contend with.
