Super Duper Weenie Fairfield Ct

Went to a taping of the Steve Wilko show in Stamford Ct with Benzee and Frank then for lunch we took a ride up the road to Super Duper Weenie in Fairfield Ct we got there at noon with the lunch crowd but the service was great and fast.
I had a Chilie Cheese Dog


Benzee had the Dixie  which had homemade meat chili@ homemade cole slaw


Frank had the New Englander which had Sauerkraut,bacon,mustard,sweet relish and raw onions

 and a Georgie red hot which was sausage,sauerkraut,mustard and sweet relish Sorry no pic.
If anyone is on 95 in Ct highly recommended for a quick bite.

Hello all ,

Good job to new Roadfooder and good friend Larry for the report . Frank , Larry and I went to the ealy taping of the Steve Wilkos Show in Stamford CT.  . Frank , another new Roadfooder had VIP tickets to the show and that got us a T Shirt , cont breakfast and the VIP lounge? .

Larry who has jumped onboard the roadfood express had mentioned Super Duper Weenie was a little up I 95 and after the taping we decided to head on up for a visit . I had never been there before and wanted to compare to the NY and Jersey places I have been .

It  did not disapoint , although the bread is still out of the question with my lapband I was able to take a few bites and will finish the rest tonite right after this report .

Good dog , good atmosphere and service .
Mentioned Roadfood to the cooks and they were like " Where is Michael Stern these days "  I laughed and told them  I would pass along thei well wishes .

Great easy on and off of I  95 another plus if you are on a tight schedule , worth the trip folks .

Anyone interested in a double dipper of Steve Wilkos and  SDW let me know , we can set it up .

PS - We are all Board Members of the FOP Lodge #957 in Orange County NY  , because someone will ask how do you guys know each other ? Am I right ?

How you doing buddy . It was a little difficult trying to be careful downing   a great dog from SDW.
Down about 180 pounds and enjoying life .
