Survey! White Castle Vs. Mcdonalds`

We don't have White Castle's here but do have quite a few Krystal's. I would pick a Krystal over McNasty's any day.

The Fart Burgers are good, but they give me diharrea. So I have to go with the Quarter Pounder

I'm surprised anyone has to ask. White Castle by leaps and bounds. McDonald's burgers are the esscence of generic. But nobody, not even Krystal can make burgers like White Castle.

I'll take a White Castle anytime. For one thing, the White Castle product actually has taste, unlike any of the McDonald's stuff. As to atmosphere, well, how can anyone not prefer the ambience offered by any White Castle? After all, the smell of beer and whiskey is not something you can find often in a McDonald's. And they don't have anywhere near the number of falling-down drunks in a McDonald's.

Me too, except my mouth was empty.

WC is okay but I am a Big Mac girl from waaaay back. Only In'nOut beats it for me.

WCs have character, taste and a fine aroma. Mickey D's are bland and tasteless...wait, that's redundant. I left Chicago over 25 years ago and went to San Diego, but since moving to Charlotte a couple years ago, almost every super market has them frozen. Not quite the same experience, but heating them up in the micro still gives that unmistakable taste. I love 'em.

White Castle or Krystal any day!

With WC such an overwhelming favorite it makes me wonder why they aren't the 800 lb gorilla instead of MD?

I read an article about them years ago that said they don't franchise, every store is company owned and they only grow as fast as they can from internal profits. They also are supposed to have very good employment policies with lots of long term employees.

While I do enjoy the occasional $1 double cheese burger, White Castle wins hands down. A few slyders, some onion rings or a bag of fries and I'm in heaven. And luckily I have one just a block from my apartment!
