TJ's Cioppino base

TJ's has discontinued sale of their cioppino base in the west (at least). It is a very sad day. I used to make this all of the time. 1 lb uncooked, peeled shrimp 1 jar cioppino base 12 oz feta cheese Put shrimp then a jar of sauce in a casserole dish and top with crumbled feta. Bake uncovered at 425 for about 30 minutes or until bubbling.

I've got 3 jars left.....highest bidder? It is a shame.....it was one of the few things out of a jar I've really enjoyed.

quote:Originally posted by BT Try this: http://www.apaladini.com/cioppino.html I've never used their cioppino base, but I've used other Paladini products (especially their tarter sauce) and liked it. Or, since you appear to be in Seattle, see http://www.larrysmarkets.com/ . This place in Seattle appears to have their own brand of cioppino base. Thanks. I will try Larry's Market

This had become my very favorite spaghetti sauce. The Palladini sauce is good but pretty expensive, per jar and then add in shipping. The TJ's sauce was good and a lot more reasonable price wise.
