Taco Bell's Cheesy Gordita Crunch is BACK

Listen to me right now and pay attention. I don't think I'd ever had this thing until last night, because I don't recall anything from TB or ANYWHERE being this superb. It's even better than the quesadilla. Folks, I got two (get it w/o the lettuce) and heated them in the toaster oven to get prime meltage going on. The cheese in between the flatbread gordita thing and the crunchy shell sort of leaks to the shell and makes the shell greasy. The pepperjack sauce is plentiful and melts into the taco as well. Dare I say you don't even need hot sauce or ranch for dipping. You really don't. After you eat the first one, you are CRAVING at least one more. Just thinking about it right now....they better not ever take this thing away. It may be the best fast food item out there on the market. It is unbelievable. UnbelIEVABLE. Talk about the magic of cheese...here it is. This will spread like wildfire and TB will be blowing UP thanks to bringing this back and pimping it during the baseball playoffs. Solid, SOLID marketing by TB.

I'm not a big fan of the Bell, but once in a while they do something right. I could eat Crunchwrap Supremes (with shredded chese, not that nacho crap) all the live long day. I may have to give that thing a try. In a season full of striking out, the Yum brands once in a while hit a homer.

Hello All, The only thing I've eaten at Taco Bell has been their Mexican Pizza, and it was okay. DamntheCowboys, I might try this based on your word. Take Care, Fieldthistle

I'm pretty sure they're violating some truth in advertising laws by referring to that odd tasting rubbery substance as cheese.

I tried it today...not too bad. Not great, but not too bad. If in the right mood, I would get it again.

I tried it last night. It was pretty good. If you like a lot of cheese, this is what you would order at Taco Bell. I had one and it was plenty. I would order it again, maybe add some of their Fiery Sauce to it.

Okay, you got me to try it. I was hungry and going by the Bell and you all had me intrigued. I ordered the "deal" which came with a taco supreme (or whatever they call it), crunchy. Interesting combo, because as near as I could tell, the gordita is the taco supreme with a piece of fluffy pita glued to it with white cheese. On the plus side, the white melted cheese actually tasted like cheese (compared to the frozen orange shreds). On the minus side, the wonder-pita softened the crack of the tortilla, and pretty much overwhelmed the corn flavor. My take? better than a crunchwrap, decent if you want a melted cheese fix. I wish they'd bring back the tostada.

I think I got unlucky, mine was dry and not good. hey, it's FF, take your chances. I may try again. The Double Super Burito Supreme, if you can find one, is awsome. It makes two meals for even a hungry person. Where did my "secret menue" thread go??? Joe

They just ripped it right away. I tried to order one and they said "Sorry, we don't offer that anymore" Bastards. I went with a chicken quesadilla and a hard shell steak taco
