Taco Doritos are back!!

I just noticed that Taco flavored Doritos are back for a limited time and they definately taste different than the previous Taco chips they had before. They taste more like the taco Doritos they had out a long time ago, very tasty. They also have 4 Cheese Doritos back, also for a limited time.

I had them & they were good. Hard to tell if they were the same as the ones I enjoyed as a child in the 70's.

I loved the Taco flavored Doritos from long ago. The new ones are definately different, but you should have seen me do a happy dance in the snacks aisle when I saw them!

Taco Doritos are back but I get the impression that the retro packaging is Limited Time offer.
on the back it shows Taco Doritos shown in the current bag design and says it is coming.
Are Tacos at Midnight being discontinued?

I thought they were closer to the originals but still not the same. Better than previous attempts. The original ones left powder in the bottom of the bag and on your fingers. Some chips were coated more than others. More aromatic than the new ones. Maybe the corn variety or spices are no longer available. Genitic modified ingredients and preservatives alter the flavor. I did notice that these new ones have a strange after taste. Did anyone else notice it?...Russ

I'm amazed you folks can remember a snack chip taste 
from a Century ago.
