Tail o' the Pup closed

I just read in National Restaurant News that Tail o' the Pup in Los Angelas has closed and been put into storage. The hot dog shaped iconic building was parked on land owned by Cedar Sanai Hospital which sold the piece of land to Regant Properties who is building a retirement community. The Blake Family who owns the Tail said they will search over the next few months for a new location.

yes, I just read it as well, just this morning......but the "burger burgade" rallied to save "Irvs Burgers" in West Hollywood.......great roadfood joint right on santa monica blvd. and the article said there is also a big rally to save the last of the Brown Derby restaurant in the Los Feliz section of LA I, for one, love the fact that there are so many roadfood type places in southern cal. still plenty left. and that is a great publication , the nations restaurant news. I get it every few weeks ,as well.. www.nrn.com. ellen
