It appears that there's a new PB variety of Take 5. That confuses me. Why would there be a PB variety? The original Take 5 already HAS peanut butter in it. It's like bringing out Peanut Butter Reese's Cups or something. Is there just more peanut butter in this one? Has anyone tried it?

God, I need a hobby...

I think I'm going to eat more candy in 2006. No resolution, just a thought.

They're just creating a new product that will disolve... Then 20 years later we'll be talking about it here! (And how much we miss it).. :)

I just want to find a Nutrageous bar. They seem to have disappeared in ATL.

I tried it. It has no chocolate. It's covered in peanut butterish stuff. Worth a try if you're into peanut butter candy. I wasn't impressed with the original Take 5, but thought the peanut butter version was OK.

Nutrageous changed the color of their wrappers last year. They used to be blue, now they're orange. They're easy to miss with all the other Reese's branded bars now.

I picked up a PB Take 5 - it seems that they've replaced the caramel part with Peanut Butter Crisp, like the inside of a Butterfinger. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds pretty interesting.

I'm just waiting for them to make a dark chocolate/pecan version of the Take 5 ... that'd be great.

Actually, I was thinking about this today, and I figured that Hershey's would cover the bar with peanut butterish stuff instead of chocolate, like the inside out version of the Reese's cups.
Nutrageous wrappers were blue last year? I always remember them as orange, and I've been eating them for years.

Oops! You're right. I was thinking of the FastBreak, which is also from Reese's and was blue in many markets up until last year. (I even saw some old blue-wrappered ones in a convenience store last week right next to the orange ones.)

has anyone tried the white chocolate take 5 bars?? those are good too!:) and what difference does it make if it already has peanut butter in it-- they still taste good don't they? and isn't that what candy is about-- simple pleasures???

I've tried the white chocolate Take 5 and thought it was ok, but I like the regular chocolate one better. Has anyone had the new Reeses Peanut Butter cups with caramel in them? They are pretty good.

Ooo, those sound lovely. The cups with the honey roasted peanuts are great, too.
