Ten Tastiest Hamburgers in Phoenix

Howard Seftel is the Food Critic for the local newspaper, The Arizona Republic.
Here are his picks for good burgers in The Valley.
I don't think they're ranked in any particular order.
http://www.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/dining/2014/08/08/howard-seftels-top-burgers-metro-phoenix/13778609/
I have never been to any of these places!
So I can't offer an opinion on any of them.
Guess I better get started.
I guess I'll start at #6. The idea of Beef Filet and New York Steak trimmings intrigues me.
Which ones sound good to you?
#1 should sound good to Buffetbuster & lleechef

I've been to (#3) The Grind. Thoroughly enjoyed the burgers and donuts for dessert. I was very impressed with the wings too.

The only restaurant on this list I have been to is The Roaring Fork, but I didn't eat the burger.  We did enjoy the place, though.

And the green chile cheeseburger does sound like a winner!

He's hoity toity with most of his reviews but he sometimes gets down to the Real People level.
He obviously forgot the TEXAZ Grill:
    TEXAZ Hamburger $7
Six ounce, hand formed, all beef patty on a sesame seed egg bun with tomato, lettuce, onion and pickle on the side, served with TexAZ fries.
    Burger Extras
    American cheese $0.25
    Longhorn cheese $0.25
    Jalapeno Jack cheese $0.25
    Sautéed onions $0.25
    Avocado topping $0.50
    Diced Green Chilies $0.50
    Sautéed mushrooms $0.50
TEXAZ Style- Chili, Cheese & Onions $1
    Bacon Strips $ 1
    Blue cheese crumbles $1
SO-----If you ordered one with EVERYTHING on it, it would only cost $12.50 and worth every penny!

I noticed that no prices are given; are these "if you have to ask you can't afford it" burgers?

#6 does sound good and I especially like its minimalist design.

    SC,

Most of the burgers are at resorts or in Scottsdale, so Foodbme is the only person alive who I know that can afford them.

I'm a live and let live kinda' guy, but there is something that offends me about a burger that costs > $10.

We have such an establishment here in McKinney, TX:  Square Burger (check my review: "Don't Forget your Wallet!").

Mrs. Metro and I went there once and liked the food.  We each had a burger and shared an order of fries; she had tap water, I had iced tea - the freaking bill, with tip, was $38!

Cut me a slack-burger with cheese!

I've been to Relish & Delux. Relish is in The Phoenician resort's club house, a monument to excess, so the burger is priced accordingly @ $16! It is Kobe beef and is very good. It's served with home made tater tots. Delux is on Camelback , a few blocks east of the Biltmore, in a smaller strip shopping center. Their Delux burger is Niman Ranch certified and grain fed. It was excellent at @ $11.75. Very good French Fries too. Nearby Delux is the excellent Gelato Spot. http://www.gelatospot.com/

Some favorites here in the West Valley: Red's Grill at The Wigwam Resort. Their Jesse's Burger is excellent and priced at $1o. Also, Augie's Sports Bar&Grill in Goodyear has their famous Border Hopper,  a half pounder with bacon, pico de gallo, mild banana peppers slices, guacamole, and cheddar cheese.
