Tequila Lime

My local grocery store used to sell a really good tequila lime marinade for chicken but they dont anymore. It was as thick as Hoisin sauce and had a big sour kick to it. Anyone know a good recipe for something similar?

Do you remember the brand? I just bought a tequila lime marinade at the grocery. I just checked the fridge and I bought Kroger brand.

This is pretty close to the taste of Applebee's, which is a popular recipe for them. 1 cup water 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce 2 tablespoons lime juice 2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 teaspoon mesquite liquid smoke flavoring 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon tequila

Hey Slick, thanks for posting that recipe. I have loved the Tequila Lime Chicken at Applebees for a long time but have been unable to get the recipe for it, until now. Thanks so much.

Our Sams sells Tequila Lime Chicken wings and they are actually pretty good. The flavor is just right.

You know, sometimes when I hear something like "Tequila Lime", I just make it up myself, like some tequila, some lime, some New Mexico chile powder, maybe a bit of olive oil. Whatever, I like to just make up my own recipes....
