Texas BBQ - Elgin

I once (in the 80's) ate BBQ in Elgin at a place which was apparently an old grocery or butcher shop. The coolers were still in place, the pit was in the center with a hole in the roof for the smoke, and the Q was good (for beef). What was the name of the place? (I think I remember Elgin Market.) Is it still there? Thanks

Do you remember where it is at? Is it in town, or on Hwy 290?

Southside Market? Used to be downtown, but a new place out on the main highway.

Thanks. I hope to get back to that area this summer. I'll try Southside for sure. Bill
