Texas BBQ by Wyatt McSpadden

I saw this book at a charity auction recently and bought it.  It is a really awesome look at the Texas BBQ scene with excellent photographs of some familiar names.  Apparently it was released in 2009 but I only stumbled across it recently.  Here is a link to the website that has a lot of the photos available as well as a couple of cool videos.

A good friend gave me this book for my birthday in 2010. A very nice book but, it becomes outdated every few years because of all the new four and five star BBQ joints opening more often, now. But, still a very nice book, indeed.

It would be great to see Franklin's and J. Mueller's documented in there.

If you want to read about Franklin's and John Mueller, the last issue of Texas Monthly is awesome (if you haven't already seen it).

It is a wonderful book. I purchased it for my dad as a birthday present last year. Here's a link to a review by Joe Nick Patoski, one of the preeminent men of letters in Texas.
