Re:Thai Iced Tea
A good Thai tea is indeed hard to beat. It's one of my all-time favorite beverages, but it can be kind of easy to mess up if you're not careful with the sugar and cream.
If you're into Thai Tea and want to try your hand at making it at home, I recommend Wang Derm Thai Iced Tea bags. You can sometimes find them at World Market, but if your local brick-and-mortar store doesn't stock it, you can always buy a box or two through their website. Wang Derm's recipe is pretty tasty, and it's fairly inexpensive, which minimizes the risk involved in those inevitably lackluster first few batches while you figure out how much sweetener and sugar you like to use.
I don't have any proportions worked out, which I guess isn't especially helpful, but I usually like to play it by ear and sweeten each serving depending on my mood at the time.
