Thank you for splitting off the Professional Forums from the rest!

I really appreciate no longer having to scroll through professional chat to see the latest posts from the "amateur" community, and I'm sure that the professionals feel the same about their posts.  Many thanks!

    Correct, but you can remove the professional posts by using the forum filters.  Set it once, and never see them again.

    Have to agree with that. Even though I don't own a food business I find a lot of the posts kind of interesting and its good to be able to eavesdrop on them. But I also like the ability to see the latest roadfood posts without it being overwhelmed by the large number of shop posts. Good job on the new format. Like it a lot.

    It makes no difference to me. If you rely on the home page for new posts I think you are short changing yourself. The home page is already ill designed as a home page and creating two listings only adds to the overall clutter and confusion in my opinion.

    Go directly to the Forums and use "Posts Since Last Visit" and edit out those forums you care not to read with the forum filter. Once you have selected "Posts Since Last Visit" simply Bookmark or make a Favorite of that result in your browser listing. That's the quick way.

     I concur with catasaurus about splitting the Pro's from the rest of the community. I am a professional cook but I don't really need to see the seven posts about Hot dogs, festivals, carts, or wagons. I come to this site for the conversation, not the advice.
