Thanks Ed & Bushie. There's still another 40+ hours of work to refine the site: fonts, colors, background, borders, and pictures. This is the first draft, which enables me to get the school into operation. CSD HDU

Definitely cool! Good luck. By the way, I've had hot dogs from the hot dog truck in South Philly. I agree with Holly Moore's assessment as the best.

Great Job Mark!!! It makes me want to come to your class and I swore off spending that many hours on my feet years ago. I'd still love to hear what you have to say in your classes just because I have a general interest in all things food related. (Especially when friends are involved) Now you just have to get your cart a little bit closer to Ann Arbor one weekend... Alice

Mark, that is one fine looking site! Was well worth the wait. Are you going to be pushing the Vienna line (Chicago style dogs), or going generic for any vendor to learn?

Thanks to all of you. Vic, I will not promote one hot dog brand over another. Students need to ultimately choose what they want to sell. Marketing skills will be a part of the curriculum. Many companies offer free marketing materials to vendors. We know from personal experience that customers brand with products. Branding makes sales much easier, especially when vendors are offered free banners, metal signs, posters, counter carts, table tents, decals, menu boards, umbrellas, hats, aprons, and t-shirts. These items help spur customer interest and create that "branded" image with a professional, highly identifiable style. This lets the world know you're serving a fine product. Great photos! All food sites should be required to inundate their websites with food porn.
