That's Amore in Milwaukee is a great authentic Italian experience

Took my 85 year old grandmother to That's Amore in Milwaukee last week and she absolutely loved it. From Deano and Sinatra music to the full-size cut-outs. What a treat and something I'll remember forever. I had the Mushroom Ravioli (my Mom recommended it) and Grandma loved the Fish-Fry. LuAnn

That's Amore' is pretty good. It's not the best Italian I've ever had, but it's decent. I like the Eggplant Rollups. They now have outdoor seating, which is nice.

Ever see the movie, "Big Night"? The father of the owners of That's Amore had a fine dining white tablecloth restaurant called Antonino's. He retired and his kids saw how he hard he worked and how popular Olive Garden was so they sort of combined the two. You get as many breadsticks and how ever much salad as you desire to go along with a menu that skews Italian-American. It is not Italian but has a few very good Italian dishes to go along with the more standard spaghetti and meatballs stuff and some regular American family restaurant fare. I would not call it authentic Italian but it has some good food at some great prices. My late father loved their bronzed catfish which isn't an Italian dish but it was very good.
