Good thing I find bacon so messy to cook. If it wasn't, I might really ruin myself. I also can't digest it as well as I used to which is a shame because I love the flavor. I've never had a bacon burger because my conscience won't let me! But it sounds good.

I always thought bacon overwhelmed the taste of a great burger...excess grease and bite! That said ,while I eat bacon once and a while...I've never seen the thrill in mostly fried 'til crisp pork fat, VERY well salted...I'll save my intake of cholesterol for the egss..and perhaps porkroll or sausage!

When did cooking a burger become so difficult? Over the last couple weeks it seems like every TV and celebrity chef has offered their version of how to's for the perfect burger

I just think of it as them showing burgers how they like them.  Taking the word "perfect" out of the equation makes it better...after all, the only perfect burger is the one that meets the eater's standards!

TV Chef's get paid big bucks so they feel it necessary to come up with something to justify their ridiculous salaries.
Same with newscasters and sportscasters.
Too many talking heads with too much airtime!

I thought maybe it was because today's yoots can't grill a burger without expert help.
