I left Grand Rapids a year ago and hauled my butt down to West Palm Beach. I've posted these pics in another thread, but since you brought up the subject, figured I'd share them with ya.
My favorite lunch time deal was from Marcos Pizza in Forest Hills (neighborhood joint in Grand Rapids Twp).
A Deluxe slice cost something like $2.50 and 1 slice did you good, 2 slices you where lucky to finish off (they literally weigh close to a lb. each, and are not shy on loading up the toppings). Being a neighborhood place, a lot of times I'd order one slice and find 2 stuffed in your box! Remember to generously tip the staff there...
You'll see a beer cap in the pics below.. That's for a size and thickness reference.
Now when I was 15, my first real job (full time at that) was at the Forest Hills Inn, also in Grand Rapids Twp. Up until a couple years ago, I called these the best pizzas around. But they raised the prices and thinned out to NY style crust and amount of toppings. It was a crying shame. First time I thought the cook had something up his ###, but the second time, and after to talking to my brother who's a chef there told me they changed things.. Pizza still is darn tasty, but when you used to be barely able to eat 1/2 of one by yourself, to having no problem inhaling the whole thing now.. Well, being cost effective here.

Then there's days ya say screw it.. Make a homemade burrito (had to toss this one in, sorry):
