Yes I have eaten those. I like them. They taste better than the stuff taco bell makes. Very tasty. I have only seen them at convienient stores.

I've tried one several years ago. I'd rather drive the extra 2 or 3 miles to my local cantina then drop my money on one of them again.

I guess I couldn't encorporate them into a weight watchers diet, could I? How many points?

If you're going to have a mega caloric burrito, you may as well have a good one.. A fully loaded Chipotle burrito is about 1500 calories.... hey, if that was the only thing you ate all day....

Generally speaking, if I do have a burrito, (the southern NM version) that is all I am going to eat in any given day. Both ends ususally hang off the plate.

The tortilla has 300 calories in that alone. http://www.chipotlefan.com/index.php?id=nutrition_calculator

Can you deep fry the bomb? Sort of make it like a chimi?

quote:Originally posted by Theedge Can you deep fry the bomb? Sort of make it like a chimi? There is a chimi version of The Bomb. It's not that crisp, but it has that deep-fried taste. I really want quality burritos, but when I am driving hell-bent and and pulling over at truck stops, The Bomb is a great gutbuster. You can't get enough TVP these days. The best way to enjoy The Bomb is at 3:oo AM in the morning. It will keep you up for the rest of the night... mark

You know; if we are applying the same criteria to Mexican food as we are to the Pizza, BBQ and Chili portions of this forum, than I'd have to say this is not Mexican food. Maybe "Snacks And Candy," but not Mexican Food. Not to say "The Bomb" is not potentially tasty. I just wonder why so much slack is given to fringe "Mexican" food here.

We're moving it over to the FF/Chain forum to put it in with other items like it. The mayor
