Recently opened in the north Beaches area of Toronto is a new burger place loosely modeled after the great In-N-Out chain based in California. I ate there yesterday and thought it was great. They are doing exactly what I'd want to see done though. Fresh ground beef, simply seasoned, done on a flat top, simple buns, simple condiments. Nothing fancy and the owner Shant does not like being called "Gourmet." It's exactly what TO has been needing. I found the burger slightly under seasoned but a little salt and pepper fixed that. The fries are fresh cut on site but are shoe strings. Mine were coney fries so the size wasn't very important. My combo came with a home made cookie too.
