The Country Breakfast Burrito !!!!

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (AP) -- The people who brought you the Monster Thickburger and the 1,100-calorie salad are at it again -- this time for breakfast. Hardee's on Monday rolled out its new Country Breakfast Burrito -- two egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, all wrapped inside a flour tortilla. The burrito contains 920 calories and 60 grams of fat. http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/diet.fitness/10/15/big.breakfast.burrito.ap/index.html Is this a threat to that gross BK b'fast thing from a year or so ago? A report from the field? Anyone had this?

My two cents. If I ever wasted 920 calories and 60 grams of fat on a meal, it would be on a cooked from scratch meal. Hardee's nukes their burgers so I suspect their breakfast would be assembled, not cooked by a short order specialist.

Sounds great to me. I could eat one of those in the morning and use myself as a saltlick for deer.

Woooh, too much for me .I prefer going to Bill Miller BBQ or El Toro,Taco Sensations or BG's and buying my breakfast tacos,as we call them here.I can get like bacon and egg, chorizo and potato, carne guisada, barbacoa, sausage and bean or other tacos. El Toro really stuffs theirs full.I don't want gravy in my taco, just like I prefer my burritos not to have rice in them.I don't mind potato so much, cause around here like at La Tortillita they put potato in their taco meat, and some other mexican places do as well. Nothing wrong with that, and in Mexico people do this.Just like Picadillo, which is a mix of spices ground meat, olived, raisins and other things. When you go to the local places the breakfast tacos are made to order.
