The Fall Roadfood Tour

I know that it is probably to early to say what the destination is going to be, however is it possible to let us know what weekend it will be. I would love to go but I work for the Federal government. We have to sign up for our time off a long time in advance. In order to take some time off between July 1 - Sept 30 we have to sign up the first two weeks of May. So, if the tour is going to be in September, could you please let us know what weekend.

Thanks

Hi, the tour will most likely be in October this year.  We are exploring a Fri-Sat all-day event in both Memphis and Little Rock.  I hope to have an official announcement in a few weeks.

Just one man's opinion, but this is easily the best lineup of Roadfood restaurants yet for one of the tours!  Love the fact that the two great barbecue restaurants in Hot Springs are being included.  Stephen and Michael, you have outdone yourself.  I am booking my flight today!

I finally got around to buying Cousin Johnny's airfare yesterday and was able to get him from BWI to Memphis for under $200.00!  There are still some cheap plane tickets out there to be had.

I also got a decent value from Chicago...there are some good values on Priceline for hotels also.  Looking forward to sharing a slice or two of pie with buffetbuster!  And of course, Cousin Johnny

What is this sharing of pie you speak of?  Sharing and pie are two words when put together that just don't register in my vocabulary!

Still over $300 R/T from Providence . Besides I think Sandra would kill me if I took another trip this year without her.

Guys, in the next couple of days I am going to post a $139/night rate for the SpringHill suites in the downtown area.  This will be the official hosted property for the eating tour.

Thanks Stephen!  Just looked it up and it is in an excellent location.  Very easy walk over to Beale Street and other downtown attractions.  I could see us making a late night visit to the Rendezvous the night before.  We are hoping to stay there for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Not speaking as an organizer but I have been on quite a few from sold out - about 50 or 1 bus - to 25 or so.  I am guessing this one has slightly over 30 so far so it's unlikely to be canceled.

We have about 10 spots left before it is sold out.
