The Farm "Come Home To The Country" B&B Dublin, GA Fri, 12/6/13 8:37 PM (permalink)
Left Helen, GA yesterday and found The Farm (a B&B) was rated 5 stars elsewhere. It is located about 1.4 miles from I-16 in Dublin, GA. The food is fantastic!. My wife had chicken piccata and I had salmon. Maria is the chef and Heinz is the maître d'. The main course was preceded by a fresh salad of field greens and tomatoes with a vinaigrette dressing. The salad was followed by pasta Bolognese.  This was absolutely delicious made with penne pasta al dente. The dessert was really superb-strawberry tiramisu. We were set a table on the patio with fantastic place settings, tea, coffee, gorgeous china, and wonderful recorded music. Dinner is $32/pp. This morning we had breakfast that started with sliced fruit - bananas, strawberries, and apples. Then came home-made biscuits like mom used to make. The main course was a vegetable omelet with sautéed zucchini, squash, onions and cheese. Gorgeous setting, very quiet, be sure to look it up when in the area. The furnishings are really beautiful and very homey. They are on the web just google it and they are also on Facebook.
