The Ghosts of Flatbush - HBO

Anyone else catch this great history lesson of the Brooklyn Dodgers? If you are a fan of Baseball, this is a must see. Very well done.....unlike that ridiculous show on ESPN...can't even remember the name right now....something Bronx. About the Yankees in the 70's. (Edit: Just remembered Bronx is Burning...Crapola) Anyway, I thought the HBO documentary about the Dodgers and the time leading up to their departure was worth mentioning. You know what....even if you are not a fan of baseball, this is good to watch. It does an excellent job of showing how America transformed after World War II its effects on how our world is today.

Times like this I wish I had HBO. I'm such a fan of the boys of summer that I can reel off from memory the starting lineup from game 7 of the 55 World Series. What a powerful presence they were from 1947 through 1956.
