Has anyone read "The Great American Hot Dog Book, The Recipes and Side Dishes from Across America" by Becky Mecuri? It covers Hot Dogs by Region, NE, SE, MW, Plains States, West & SW and Pacific. Is it worth buying? As everything else, available on Amazon.

MiamiDon, I must be loosing it!  I'm so embarrassed!  It was I who started the second Thread you mentioned 2 years ago.  I went to my cookbook rack and would you believe, there it was!!!! Senioritis has set in  I liked it the second time around too!  You saved me $12 bucks. I was going to order it! There's a recipe for NY System Hot Wiener Sauce on Page 55 that I'm gonna try this weekend!

  This gave me a very good chuckle!! Much needed on these steamy days. Been there, done that. Will your Kindle or Nook warn you if you try to buy a book that is already in your library??
