I know there have been many Waffle House threads, but this  doesn't fit any other so, I will start yet another. I work at a Car Dealership located within eye sight of a Waffle House. We ( my co-workers) eat there often. We got a bonus with our paychecks today. Waffle House gave all the employees a 10% discount card for that location. We didn't ask for it.. They took it upon themselves to give it to us.  We called to thank them, they said our business was important to them and wanted to thank us. To me this says something about how they treat customers. Just my 2 cents.

I have always enjoyed the time and food I have eaten at this eatery.

That's the sort of stuff I expect from the one I go to regularly. They do things like that to show how much they care.

They say hello to everyone who enters the store whenever possible.  I always found the staff at any location I visited for breakfast along the road to be very accomodating.

I like watching them all adhere to a very rigid, well planned routine.  Their workers are all well trained; you can tell.  Like the food or not, you have to be impressed with the efficiency of their operation.  Portion controls are evident everywhere.  Sheets of bacon, IQF pork chops, timers.. the home fry rings...everything they do is done with a purpose.

At the Coke Museum in Atlanta, they have a area where they discuss the long time relationship between the two companies.  Very interesting.  I like their waffles..I just wish they would use legitimate butter pats.

Would I rather stop for breakfast at a diner off the Interstate, if one is available.  Absolutely!  But, if there are none, we go to a Waffle House.

The fact that they made the effort to do that for us (my company) speaks alot to me.
