This may be The Year of the Dragon on the Chinese calendar, but for
The Contingent, we have officially entered The Month of the Pig and Duck. Our visit to Sun Wah is just 25 days away and I can already hear the quacks and squeals emanating from the north side of the city.
I received a PM from a quiet Roadfooder who calls herself "cubbie" (AKA "Katie" over at LTHForum). She'll be joining us on the 26th and I thought we might take a moment to make her feel welcome before the actual event. So, howdy cubbie! Welcome aboard for this outing and, I hope, many more. Your attendance, and local address, assures your membership in
The Contingent. I'm sure the other members will be happy to have you in the group. I've adjusted the guest list to include you as a single. If you'd like to bring a guest (or more), you're welcome to do so. Please just keep us informed so we can make the right reservation.
And come on out of lurking and say "Hi".
Buddy
P.S. It's getting close to the time for all you fence sitters to make a commitment. For a group of this size we probably shouldn't wait until the last minute to make a reservation.
B.
