"Themed" fast food restaurants

Just curious to hear of some of the "themed" fast food restuarants in your area. I always enjoy visiting them. In Richmond Indiana, there's a railroad themed McDonald's, that has, on their lot, a Caboose that they've turned into a dining area. Way cool. There's a McDonald's in SPringfield, MO, that has 4 or 5 "themed" dining rooms....the waterfall room, etc etc. It used to bill itself as the "World's Busiest McDonald's" but I doubt that's the case anymore. Of course, the MickeyD's in Indianapolis with the Grand Piano on a raised stage.... I'd be curious to hear about some fast food themed restaurants in your area...I'm always up for a road trip LOL

Wow! I've never heard of a "themed" McDonald's, or any other fast-food place.

There is a Patsy Cline themed McDonalds in Winchester, Virginia. Not only are there pics of the country music great all over the place but they have a large juke box that plays her music as well. Its been awhile since I ate there ( maybe 2 years ) so I would imagine the theme is still there, even though I did hear a rumor awhile back that the McDonalds was going to "cut back" on the Patsy Cline theme.

In Barstow CA The McDonalds has 4 passenger railcars that have been converted into FF eating areas. These are NOT Victoria Station type of table service dining cars, but they are full of the usual FF tables and permanent mount chairs, with the usual McDonalds order/pickup area in the center of the 4 cars. They draw quite a crowd as Barstow is where I-40 begins as it branches off of I-15, and also it is about the halfway point between L A and Las Vegas. Barstow has been a major rail hub for the Santa Fe (now BNSF) Railway for over 100 years.

Oh yeah thier delivery vehicle is a Nomad Station Wagon The Chicago Rock 'n' Roll McDonalds was billed as one of the busiest and largest grossing in the country. It was recently torn down and rebuilt with a few of the photos included on this link. I beleive it's open 24 hours. http://www.lynnbecker.com/repeat/Schlock/rocknroll.htm

Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's makes me think of the Wesley Willis song of the same name.

There is a Rock and Roll Hardee's complete with a jukebox in St. Peters, MO. I think there is also still a Hollywood themed McDonalds in Crestwood, as well.

I think most of our McDonalds have a "dump" theme. In downtown Boston, they have a "skid row" theme with live entertainment.

Beef-A-Roo is a local Rockford, IL-area chain that's been around for a long time and features several different themes/styles: http://www.beefaroo.com/findaroo.html, http://www.beefaroo.com/history.html.
