Chili's still has them, when you get soup. Saltines must be one of the original comfort foods.

Chili's serves saltines with chili and soup, albeit in those nasty little cellophane packets. Saltines have to be one of the classic comfort foods.

I wasn't sure whether you were talking about individual packets, Burry's, or Saltine-type crackers in general. But someone always has them in their desk drawer at work in case someone feels nauseated, or it's bad weather and someone has no money and no food (you go around bumming things from your co-workers until you have a lunch put together) (and I know because I left my wallet home on the counter more than once this year). I now have a box of Cup-O-Soup in my "big drawer" for that reason. Quizno's gave me Saltines wrapped to go with my cheese and broccoli soup last week. I didn't eat them, though, and I plan on taking them into work. I wonder how quickly they go stale in the plastic?
