A baseball player a pizza maker and Claire's boyfriends?

A baseball player and four football players.

I use the ring mold all the time.

Watergate & Ambrosia salad. An avocado mold that's guactaspic!

It's great to mold a stuffing ring. Cranberry sauce is nice...but it's too big.

The fish must be away for the summer...with the chocolate molds. He better be there. Crab mousse is delicious.

Updated adapted fresher versions work well. Or classical recipes...before the 60s & 70s. I resist the urge to make train wrecks. No suspended eggs...peas...meat. The tall mold has trouble written all over it.

Never tomato anything. Noooo mountain of mayonnaise for garnish.

Bubbly Punch mold.

I just found this from The Jello Mold Mistress of Brooklyn...

http://jellomoldmistress....on-dollar-jello-salad/

I am gonna make it in two weeks!

The flag is from Sex Flags Magic Mountain...right next to the cross.
In that case it seems like the letter "a" has no business being in "Mountain"...

Does the Matterhorn at SoCal Disneyland count as a log flume...it does splash a bit at one point in the ride. The one at 6 Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey was a very popular ride for many years. Since then so many Theme Parks have opened up 'water-parks' as a section, or companion to the traditional ride park.  But the Fake Logs in a rickity trough was a thrill for lots of folks when we opened the park in 1974 (6  Flags bought the operation the next year).

Yes the Sawmill Log Flume still takes passengers. A great log flume.

My oldest Sister took me to Great Adventure when I was 10 years old for sand art in a big Coca Cola bottle...the sawmill...and the finale was a Peaches & Herb live concert. A Great Adventure!

I loved going to Great Adventure in the 70s & 80s, I remember my Grandpa didnt heed the warning about the babboons and vinyl tops on your car when going through the safari, the sound in the car was almost as bad as the site of his vinyl top on his Ford Maverick.

That must have been some start. They either totally ignored you...or tried to kill you. Not much in-between.

The monkies can go near the ferns.

I picked up what I thought was a book about fish...from the 60s. Plants were in the fish tanks...with very bright fluorescent lights. No sun.

Here's one. Remember those picture booths in the five and dimes and arcades with the little curtain that you sat on that little stool that screwed up and down and looked at sign that said "look here". The machine took several photos without warning so you ended up with a strip of pictures that it developed and delivered to you with several unprepared poses. I think they cost a quarter and you got 4 pictures that were about 2" x 2". Usually just outside of these machine was a PEZ dispenser. I think PEZ are still around aren't they?

The last one I saw was at the Boardwalk of Seaside...after my son decided to join his cousins on the skyscraper ride last summer. Since he is 21 I figured the statute of limitations expired on a lecture about it not being the best idea he ever had.

He seemed fine after for a few minutes. As the other kids shopped he asked me to join him in the booth...like we were going have pictures taken. No. He was all set to be sick...and the statute of limitations has not expired on me having to sit there praying he would not. He's lucky.

Here he is on a better day. He was green when we were in the booth....

This is better than going to therapy.

There are some "photo booth" apps that are supposed to create photo booth results. They have to be in a strip! Not a cube!

Pocketbooth is great...and it should be fun!

mar52 A cleaning lady?  I used to have one.  Loved not having to do it myself.

We pinned the tail on the donkey at all my birthday parties.

Wooden toilet seats?  Do they still make them?

Has anyone mentioned Murphy and his bed?

Plenty of housekeepers in my neck of the woods (especially Island women and Koreans). I have seen "Pin the Donkey" in party stores. Wooden toilet seats are still at Home Depot. As far as Murphy beds go, they still exist, too, although in New York City, I saw an upscale version of the Murphy bed (when a studio apartment stats at $2-3K a month, you have people with decent money and not a lot of space). It essentially was on motorized pulleys, and would go up to the ceiling. In the furniture store, it was shown that it could go over a cocktail table with the drinks still on the table. I'm not sure what they did to keep the bed from swinging.

I had a spoonful of Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil every morning...growing up. I bet a few mornings it was Seagram's 7 for a quiet afternoon.
I don't know if the tablets have been around so long but I bet it tastes better...

Doilies had to be LINEN not paper !! One of My weekly chores  was ironing them and my step-dads hankerchiefs...for his suit coat breast pocket .
I did my own shirts, and Sunday Suit-pants and folded the towels and pillowcases when they came in from the clothes line.
I did our Sunday shoes, for dad and me.. Kiwi paste on the weekend, and black liquid (or white-buck liquid for my Bucks)  on my school schools during the week
