My wife, a senior loan officer with Wells Fargo, been at it over 28 years, since we first got married, got a call yesterday, from a lady who wanted information on a house only a real estate agent could provide. The woman became upset that she , my wife, didn't have the info she wanted, so she said, "what's Mr. Fargo's phone number, my wife said, who is Mr. Fargo? The woman said, the guy on the sign, Wells, Wells Fargo" True story! It goes way beyond the restaurant industry! Got any similar amazing stories ?

On a recent flight, an elderly passenger kept peering out the window. Since it was totally dark, all she could see was the blinking wing-tip light. Finally, she rang for the flight attendant. "I'm sorry to bother you," she said, "but I think you should inform the pilot that his left-turn indicator is on and has been for some time."

In the first week of my working life, I was answering customer service calls for an insurance company. An older gentleman called to cancel his term life insurance plan. Then he asked when he would be receiving his refund of all the premiums he had paid over the last 20 years. It was his understanding that, since he didn't die, there was no completion to the contract, and he should get all the money back.

When I worked in the financial business a customer wanted to know if he could fax us a check to cover a margin call. Not only do they vote, the breed!
