I'd be a little leary of a Pizza outfit that when you open their web site the first things you see are their wings, subs, ribs, chicken and then you see their pizzas

Selling "boneless wings" puts them right up there with McD's "McRib"! No, thank you.

Foodbme I'd be a little leary of a Pizza outfit that when you open their web site the first things you see are their wings, subs, ribs, chicken and then you see their pizzas I went to their website. It appears they may have read your comment, the first thing I saw was pizza when I clicked on the link. LOL - and it looks good enough to where I would be inclined to see what else they have. I do agree though, when they have to push the other items so hard as to be on the forefront, then I have to wonder how crappy their main attraction is. I hope that is a lesson to all the restaurant owners out there; if you change the focus, you lose your identity (and potential sales along with it - at least with me anyway).

I live near several of these locations and have never heard of them. Though chains exist, Chicagoland has a very strong mom and pop local pizza loyalty. My fav.... my local one location m&p place! I can get triple garlic anytime!

They seem to have the same menu and "flavor" as another Illinois-based franchise: Rosati's ( http://rosatis.com/ ). I've been to the local one four times. Twice, it was fantastic; twice it was dreadful. Now, when I want to gamble, I go to one of the Indian Casinos in nearby Oklahoma. If you feel "lucky", try Jimano's. But be warned - even though it might sound tasty, BBQ sauce on pizza is truly excreable.

not bad for a chain....still prefer the non franchise family run places that have been around for 40+ years

Ah, just try them out. I agree about the mom and pop places, but it doesn't hurt to try something new. Still want to order myself a calzone from Catelano's in Cibolo, and try the new Plaza Pizza here in Schertz. It's a small place a friend told me about. There you can get a couple of slices of pizza and a drink for a lunch special. Haven't tried the Goomba's in Schertz yet.It too is a chain, and they have a website.
