This "chain" consists of an original downtown Chattanooga location (has to been there over a decade now), now, a 2nd location at Hamilton Mall, plus one in Nashville, and one in...FLORIDA!

It is now part of the Gordon Biersch chain of restaurants, which I must say, my one experience with, was pathetic.

That being said, I have had many fine dinners, at the original Chattanooga location. The city is in love with it, and it's always packed.

If anyone has any knowledge of the actual founding of Big River, I'd like to know. I find it odd, that it has three Tn., locations, and a lone wolf in Florida. What is that all about???
