Three-Fried Beans

Has anyone heard of three-fried beans? I read about this today, the description was on http://www.weird-food.com/weird-food-vegetable.html They said it was basically refried beans prepared like falafel.. rolled into a ball, battered and fried. Sounds pretty tasty to me.
