Tido's and such

I have to say that once I realized I had to ask for the all Beef dog at Tido's I was pleasantly surprised how much better it was. I did not care for their chilly, but a few Beef dogs with raw onions and mustard and fries was a good little meal. The fries there are fantastic so they are a must have. I used to work in Piscataway so trolling for good dogs was a lunch time sport. There were three roadside wagons. One on the cornor by the Dunnellen train station. No name that I ever saw but the guy is always there in the nice months. A good dog, no name soda's, the problem is you are lucky if they are hot enough. He always has a few customers in line so it is OK. Then there was Pop-Pops on the edge of Dunnellen and Piscataway, just a terrible meal. Cold dogs, bad attitude. Not worth the stop. There also used to be a women who would sit out in her bathing suit on a lawn chair and sell dogs from a painted over old mail truck. Her tan was nice but the dogs were just OK, reheats I think. The last to mention was a truck on the border of Piscataway by 287 overpass. Good dog specials on Tuesday I think. One time I had a really good simple dog and mustard there, another time it was a little cold, but worth the stop. I'm still hugely disappointed in the Princeton area, and I guess all of Mercer County according to SoulOnFire. Not a good dog to be found anywhere within walking distance of a college campus. How can that be?
