Here's my favorite Recipe; what's yours???
HOHO'S SHRIMP SAUTE
This is my all time favorite shrimp dish!
 INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 # Shrimp - raw peeled and cleaned - no tails
1 Medium Onion, finely chopped
1/2 C Clarified Butter
1/4 C Fresh Basil, finely chopped
1/4 C Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
1 Bay Leaf
1 Large Pinch each of Celery Salt, Rosemary and Celery Seeds
1 TBSP Flour
1/2 TBSP Worcestershire, Optional
1-2 TBSP Fresh Lemon or Lime Juice
1/2 TBSP Fresh minced Garlic
!/2 TBSP Spearmint Leaves, finely chopped
1-2 Bags of Cooked Success Rice (Or Brown Rice if you prefer)

PREPARATION
Use a good size Sauté Pan
Sauté onion in clarified butter until wilted
Add remaining Seasonings and stir to blend
Add Shrimp and simmer until pink, don't overcook
Blend in Flour to thicken, May need to adjust the amount
Season with Worcestershire, Juice and S&P
Blend together and serve over Rice or Serve Rice on the side
(Can also be served as an Appetizer with slices of French Baguettes)

Maybe that explains why this week at the grocery store, a pound of frozen cooked shrimp is three dollars more on sale than it was last week!

            Come for a visit!

I think I will celebrate my 43rd birthday at Seabra's if I can make June 2nd National Sangria Day instead of National Rocky Road Ice Cream Day! The Sangria is delightful!

I celebrated with some shrimp bisque.

Ignore the crab.  I made them before I found out what crab cost per pound.

              Makes shrimp seem cheap.

What's the stuff on the rim of the cup? The crab is neat! Is that puff pastry?

That's because all the good European and Mediterranean foods and restaurants are located in the East & Midwest.
You have Mexican foods, and Beef -  they have Polish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Greek. Hungarian, Irish, Scandinavian etc etc, etc.

Store bought puff pastry cut with a cookie cutter.

Old Bay Seasoning around the rim.

It would have been better as a sprinkle on top.  Live and learn.
