WOW! Now that's a plate of food! Says it's enough to feed 6 people! I believe it. Has anyone eaten it at McClard's or made it at home? Is it as big as it appears?

Yes, we've done both, although we never had the tamale spread at McClard's, as it's my favorite BBQ joint of all time (meaning I always get barbecue, preferably a "rib and fry plate," which is a rack topped with four orders of freshly made French fries). I've made the Sterns' recipe, and it's outstanding. Note that while the recipe serves six, I'm pretty sure that photo is a single serving as served at McClards!

Bruce is right. That is a single serving at McClard's.

Wow! McClards must be the epicenter of the obesity problem in this country----but it does look good!
