Today's Restaurant- LEFTERIS

LEFTERIS (Mt. Kisco, NY) has become something of a regular "hang" for a bunch of us, after various coffeehouse & local theater performances. (It helps that it's one of the few places to eat late at night in sleepy Mt. Kisco). Many places in the area are less than happy when a dozen or more hungry musicians and/or actors walk in at 11pm. This always mystifies me; don't they want business? The food at LEFTERIS is always fresh & tasty (I recommend the lamb), and the owner & his family are welcoming and happy. And they never mind if we break into song. Ron

Can you take a picture of their gyro? If it's in the name, it should be on the review.

Yeah- hurry up and get back there and take a picture. By the way, if it's in the name, it doesn't have to be in the review.

I said should. Don't you think a namesake item would be they are proud of? I'd like to see that. Or at least have someone tell me the gyros at Lefteris Gyro are not the worst thing on the menu.

The gyros at Lefteris Gyro are not the worst thing on the menu. :) Seriously, they're pretty good, if a bit overstuffed. I usually get two meals out of one. They consistently win "Best of" awards from the local media, FWIW.
