Tom Ryan moved here from Chicagoland in 1988 and opened a BBQ joint in Tempe AZ, serving Chicago style BBQ, Brisket, Ribs, Italian Beef, Chicago Dogs, Italian Sausage and other fine items. They are truly the authentic Chicago Real Deal. Had lunch there today and had Tom's House Sandwich. It's Beef Brisket with grilled onions, sweet peppers, shrooms, provolone cheese and a bordelaise sauce served on a french baguette & served with a side of the best coleslaw I've ever tasted! The sandwich was huge and I brought half of it home with me. All that for $6.99! Tom gave me a sample of his Italian Beef and it was tender and delicious. He has 4 locations in the East Valley. 1 in Tempe, 2 in Mesa and 1 in Chandler and one in Casa Grande AZ between Tucson & Phoenix. He does catering as well and sells his meats by the pound for take home.
