hey guys, I just came back from visiting my family yesterday and for the trip I bought myself a 12oz glass bottle of Dr. Pepper and a large bag of Hot Fries. mmmmm it was a nice combination of sweet with hot/salty. let's just say that in less than 10 minutes I was almost done with the whole bag!!!!!

I remember trying "Tom's Hot Fries" a year or so ago when I was stranded in BWI during a snow storm. They looked good in the vending machine and what else can one get in an airport in the middle of the night? Yep, they burned my mouth pretty good. Other than that, they tasted terrible. On the other hand, a good cold Dr. Pepper is ALWAYS welcome in my diet .

Andy Capp's Hot Fries are available up here in the East coast and very popular. I suspect that they are very close in flavor, and yeah, they are pretty good as a snack/junk food to eat while driving. mark

oh my goodness, a while back I asked if anyone remember Andy capp fries and I did't get a response. Wow! Actually, I think Andy Capp fries are better than the Tom's. The one place I found them at recently was at a warehouse type market, Toudouze Market in San Antonio (it's been around for like 90 years or so).

Just yesterday I bought a bag of the Tom's Jalepeneo(spelling?) Cheddar and they were pretty good, but very hot. I know why a bag of these don't last very long, it's because if you stop eating them your tongue would probably fall out from them being so hot. If you're congested they are a good way to clear you right up, I always end up with a runny nose from the hot stuff.
