It's called Road Food, not Roadfood, I'm wondering if it's a Stern's show and a misprint in the paper, past my bedtime but I'll stay up!

It's a special called Road Foods Unwrapped, hosted by Marc Summers, who hosts the Unwrapped series.

It is rare that I am awake at that hour although I will try.  Sounds like a very good program.

The exact title is Road Foods Unwrapped. It is on the Food Network at 9:00 PM Central time and then again at midnight. It is a repeat showing. I saw it once already.

FYI, I found that DirectTV has it listed as Unwrapped Road Foods.

              From the Food Network website.

"Get your map out and join host Marc Summers for a full hour of "On the Road" treats. Head east for the birth of the buffalo wing, the rivalry of the cheese steak and the taste of key lime in Key West. Then visit a Maryland Crab cake bonanza and get a sip of a Boston cream cocktail. Head to the Midwest for deep dish pie, a cheese castle and a castle made of corn. Plus, see how 7-11 was started, bite into a chocolate map, lick a salt palace and visit Pinky's hot dogs in Los Angeles."
I wonder if they meant Pink's?

I watched it at the 1 AM replay...It is VERY Generic, touching on a wide variety of places around the country from the Florida Keys to L A ...and many places in between. It was a nice overview of the variety of foods found in the different regions of the country. WJ would like the central theme !
