I forgot Kansas played football.  I thought they were a B-Ball team
just like that other KU--- Kentucky.  Or is that UK, but isn't that a country
close to my beloved Ireland ? We need more letters in the alphabet.

I thought Gill did well at Buffalo and hope he does as well at Kansas.
The fat man has moved on, he did pretty good out there on the prairie.
Lots of competition.

Lane Kiffin quits Tenn. & returns to USC...How's that sitting with the Vols & Trojan fans?

It is not a surprise that Kiffin wanted to return to USC but he did it in a classless way.

The fans here in Knoxville are very upset but that is football.  Football has been in Tennessee for 113 years.  It will not stop at this bump in the road although it definately set UT way back.  Their recruits have mostly dissappeared.

Lane Kiffin's dad, Monte was a class act and was very good.  I believe Lane also did a very good job although the way he left sure did leave a bad taste in VOL fans.

A good week for coach's sons...Vince Dooley's son gets the Tenn. job & Lou Holtz's son is the new coach at Southern FL.

And Kiffin's son took old dad with him to Southern Cal----who may be closed down by the NCAA.  It is a weird off season.

cavandre, Yep they cleaned house again.

I can't complain though, PSU was in the top 10.

The big suprise was how bad Ohio State did.

And Kiffen recruits and gets verbal from 13 year old
quarterback-------he is really a slime ball.

Urban Meyer promises kids the moon, promises their mothers he personally will watch over their little boys, even though he may have stayed un-retired just for the recruiting season and Florida has had 23 athletes arrested in his time there.  The defensive co-ordinator promised the kids he was going to make this the best defensive in the country and the day after signing day quit Florida for the Buffalo Bills.  -------Gainesville is a lousy town in a hot humid area and these kids are lied to and promised anything to get them to sign------it's a sin !!!!!!

Penn St and ND did good telling it like it is to kids-----Go JoPa and "Goal a Minute" Kelly.

A cloud of dust and Woody Hayes and Bo Shembeckler spinnin' in their graves.
Next you'll tell me that Yeshiva is joining Southern Methodist, Texas Christian,
and Catholic U. to form a league of their own.

It is too late for the '09 thread unless you want to talk about Tim Tebow's chances in the NFL draft.

Speaking of Tebow, I read he was invited to the NFL draft.  If he doesn't go on the first round, which is more than likely, it will be very awkward!
