I used to live in Atlanta, and I always liked the South Fork on Ponce Deleon. They serve a real southern breakfast with ham and sausage biscuits. Sometimes, they would have Salmon biscuits too... Also a great place for lunch. I liked the Flying Biscuit, but felt their food was a bit over rated. It was a great place the first two years it was open, though. B

Dearfolk, The Lakewood Diner on Lakewood Avenue, S/W - turn west off Stewart Avenue (Metropolitan Parkway) and it's right up behind the branch library and the Wachovia Bank. So I am told, Paschal's on M. L. K. - Can't wait to go there. The Majestic on Ponce de Leon. The City Cafe' Diner on 10th. Street, corner Hemphill Avenue, N/W - right above Georgia Tech. Clell's Cafe on Roswell Street in Marietta, right by First Baptist Church. Bobby & June's Country Kitchen on 14th. Street, N/W, corner Mecaslin Street. Those are all that come immediately to mind. If you're ever in Athens, there are four favorites: Bluebird Cafe' on East Clayton Street; The Grit on Prince Avenue; Plantation Buffet on M. L. K. where it becomes Commerce Road; and The Gateway Cafe on North Avenue. Livermushlessly, Ort. Carlton in Athens, GEE-YAY.

Silver Skillet 14th St near I-75, they're good for lunch too, super CFS and sweet tea, L & K in Gainesville, great selection w/ smoked sausage and 4 other meats, Golden Corral (although it's a chain, but great nonetheless), Burger Inn in Woodstock, and Marietta Diner on Cobb Parkway. These are my top five.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. I'm addicted to the Griddle Grits at Crescent Moon.
